Inspired by Wilhelm Wagenfeld’s "Globe Lamp", this table lamp is characterized by the singularity of its shade and the various materials used. The half-moon shade is in opal glass while the lamp’s base and foot are in clear glass decorated with golden brass. The Globe lamp produces a direct soft light creating a pleasant and serene atmosphere.
Wilhelm Wagenfeld designed the "Globe" lamp for the Bauhaus workshop when he was only 24. The German designer was a pioneer in the combined use of glass and steel.
